This book did a great job explaining the history of reiki as well as the cultural significance surrounding it. On top of that, the images and graphics used do a great job at aiding in helping you visualize what they are describing. It ensures you learn plenty about reiki without providing so much information that you still learn from a reiki master to gain it's full benefit. I would recommend this for anybody who is interested in reiki or any other form of chakra/chi/subtle energy healing
