The sixteen articles are organized into sections on phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, discourse analysis, historical/comparative linguistics, and graphemics.

The articles in this book elucidate many pronunciation and cantillation questions I had that were not thoroughly explained elsewhere. It's nice to have a discussion that takes into account modern linguistics and traditional scholarship (such as philological studies). I don't recommend this book to the faint-hearted!
