About this ebook

In the year 2035, robots, artificial intelligences, and neural implants have become commonplace. The Institute for Ethics keeps the peace, using social reputation to ensure that robots and humans don't harm society or each other. But a powerful AI named Adam has found a way around the restrictions.

Catherine Matthews, nineteen years old, has a unique gift: the ability to manipulate the net with her neural implant. Yanked out of her perfectly ordinary life, Catherine becomes the last firewall standing between Adam and his quest for world domination.

It was a good read but expectations were too high after reading the first two books, Avogadro Corp. & AI Apocalypse

Really exciting, gripping and incredibly imaginative. No problem suspending disbelief - it all seemed so plausible. Great writing, great concept, great story.

William Hertling has created one of the best science fiction novels ever written. I put 'The Last Firewall' on the same shelf as my Bob Heinlein novels, Sir Issaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury and the other Giants of our Science Fiction Universe. I also include in this group the great Gene Rodenberry for envisioning many of the things we now take for granted. I'm forwarding a copy of this review and a link so they can get a book of their own to every science fiction fan I've stayed in touch with for the past 55 years. Mr. Hertling, you have definately blown through my firewall with this novel!
