This eBook includes chapters 1 to 2 of the Gospel according to Mark. Both content and images refer to the preparation of Jesus for his ministry. This preparation is reflected in three passages: Ministry of John the Baptist, Baptism of Jesus and temptations of Jesus in the wilderness. Once this preparation is done, the activity of Jesus starts in Galilee. This activity can be specified in the following episodes: the call of the disciples (Simon, Andrew, Jacob, John and Levi), the preaching in the Synagogue of Capernaum and in Levi’s home, the performing of miracles. This activity reveals to people his condition of Messiah. Finally, Jesus preaches in cities and villages acting as Son of Man and suffering the consequences of the provocation of his words in the Pharisees’ ears.

This is a publication that combines in an enhanced eBook the following: the unabridged Biblical text, illustrations, audio with the recited text, background music and soundtrack effects, different video with introductions, links to social media and Pop-up windows with Biblical commentaries. These illustrations have been painted in purpose for this collection and they follow concrete theological directions made by the author who interprets the Bible and analyzes its symbology, its historical background and its Biblical sense and meaning.
