Since the first ever book about the Christmas' family, Z.L has really provided the character development hoped for as each sibling learns how to better themselves away from their dark family past. In this story, we manage to find out what Asher - the Christmas who disappeared - has been up to, and like his siblings, how he has been endeavouring to become someone who isn't a product of his past. Dr Penina Ross is our smart female protagonist, works hard but has crappy taste in men. When her and the illusive Christmas sibling finally meet, she has the tricky choice of whether or not their intense chemistry is worth the secrets that lay between them. By the end of the book, little does she know that her own past is wilder than she ever imagined. From beginning to end every page had me hooked, and I cant wait until the next instalment where hopefully both of these characters get the answers they need.

Asher??* Asher is definitely more than a pretty face💗 he has it all brilliant, handsome and a billionaire however something is always missing when you're a Christmas. Asher is definitely a Non-Stop workaholic in a brand new life and living under the radar is an understatement for him his happiest definitely depends on it .this book is absolutely perfect. I literally stayed up till 7 a.m. to finish it 💣💣💣💥💥💥 You learn so much about the Christmas family and even more secrets, other than Jasper ,Asher is the most interesting because he's the quietest. This book at the beginning is written a little different than the rest of the books but it gives you so much more in terms of suspense. I can't wait for Bryn's in September 💟

Wow…..just WOW! Each book in the Christmas series is as exciting to read as the first. I absolutely love this author’s books, once I start reading I cannot put them down. Jake aka Asher is not how I first perceived him in the previous books. Frankly I did not like him. He was whiney and seemed like he always wanted what his brothers had. I really like how his character has transformed. Dr. Jake Sparrow and Dr. Penina Ross have hot chemistry but there are dark secrets that unfold. I was SHOCKED at the ending of this book. Will they overcome their secrets? This series is captivating from the beginning. I cannot wait for the second book. You will not be disappointed.
