About this ebook

Earth is under constant threat from Neighbors, invincible monsters from another dimension that destroy our way of life. At least we have the elite warriors of Border, who co-opt alien technology to fight back!

Our hero Osamu Mikumo may not be the best agent, but he’ll do whatever it takes to defend life on Earth as we know it.

When Osamu meets a feisty humanoid Neighbor named Yuma, everything that he thinks is right is turned on its head. Can the two natural enemies ever become friends?

One of the 3 best manga series I've ever had the pleasure of discovering. Barely any problems with female costumes, a wide cast of varied characters, and breaks from the main plot that can last for volumes just in case anyone is somehow getting bored. (And those multi-volume long breaks, actually affect the main plot! Imagine that!) One thing I find particularly noteworthy are the background images. When explaining things manga and comics often give you a background image so you have something to look at. But in World Trigger they ACTUALLY HELP EXPLAIN THE CONCEPT! And do it better than in any other manga I've ever seen, bar none. Anyway this review is getting a little long so I'll just end this by saying I'm anxiously waiting for volume 20.

It starts great, and is still great 12 books in! The only downsides to the series is that it gets a bit long in sections, and the main characters get kinda sidelined during one of the story arcs. But there is always something interesting and new put in at just the right time! Try it out!
