About this ebook

He falls for her…literally.

Since her husband’s murder, Ada Buckingham’s life has comprised one calamity after another, and the hits keep coming, yet each day, she picks herself up and begins again.

Military man Matt Townsend, AKA Frog, expects a challenging assignment when he agrees to train soldiers in tough country terrain. The rules: stay away from the old lady’s flowers and notify her of days or nights with flash-bang.

Easy, right?

On arrival via parachute, he plummets into the lady’s flowers. The sexy spitfire who confronts him isn’t the maiden aunt-type he imagined, but man, she intrigues and entices him, and he’s eager to learn more.

Matt is quick to insert himself into her life, and his mission evolves once he learns something is hinky and dangerous in the world of Ada. While he fell arse over teakettle, Ada is slower to believe or trust, but Matt is confident in his charm and brings his A-game. Now all he needs to do is keep her safe.

You will love this latest addition to the Military Men series because it contains a charming, confident, and audacious soldier known for his singing voice—not!—and a brave and determined heroine with a love of flowers. You’ll also find skullduggery in a country town, danger, and gossip aplenty. Sit back with a glass of wine and enjoy the romantic adventure.

I like this "Military Men" story. It's a bit different but full of mystery and suspense. This story bring Matt and Ada together. Ada is struggling after she finds her husband dead. She has had a string of bad luck ever since and is trying to keep her head above water. She rents part of her land to the military for training with one main rule; don't mess with her flowers. Matt training ends up landing in her flowers. Not a good start. These two start to get to know one another and then suddenly maybe all her bad luck isn't exactly that. This is an intriguing story!

Operation Flower Petal features Ada and Matt's story. This is a well told story with great detail. Suspense, drama and hot chemistry are well entwined into the storyline. I really liked reading this passion filled story.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review. In this book we meet Adelaide "Ada" Buckingham and Matt "Frog" Townsend. Adelaide must show a profit on the land she and her husband inherited from his aunt. They were given a time frame of 8 years to show a profit or the land would revert back to her husbands parents. Every since her husband was murdered she has been having problems showing that profit so the land will become hers instead of her in-laws. She has a plan to pay off the bank loan her husband got to get the sheep he wanted to raise on the land and to show a profit and keep the land. She is going to grow flowers dry them and sell them as confetti to wedding parties. When she finds a letter address to her husband she looks and finds that the military is looking to rent part of her land for training missions. The extra income will help until her business gets up and going. The only stipulation she has is they must warn her before setting off any arms and stay out of her flowers. This is all good until Frog lands right in them after jumping out of a plane and the wind catches him and another recruit and puts them in her flowers. She is outraged, he can't believe such a beautiful woman is out here alone. When he starts seeing strange things while doing night training he knows he needs to help her. What happens though when things get worse. Is this the beginning of a HEA or the beginning of the end? This is an amazing story. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
