About the author
Nicole Amrein, 1970 in Bern geboren, war als Fernsehmoderatorin, Journalistin und Chefredakteurin bei diversen Magazinen tätig. Mit ihrem Erstling "Die Pfundsfrau" landete sie auf Anhieb einen Bestseller. Es folgten Arztromanserien und Frauenromane sowie zahlreiche Kurzgeschichten für Zeitschriften. Die Serie "Dr. Katja König" hat in der Schweiz bereits eine riesige Fangemeinde; die Filmrechte in Deutschland sind bereits verkauft. Nicole Amrein lebt mit ihrem Mann im Kanton Zug und in der Südschweiz.
