From my kitchen to yours—live long and mangia.
I did not grow up thinking I would one day write a cookbook. I simply loved to cook. I loved feeding people and watching faces light up when something tasted just right.
Over time, friends and family began asking for recipes, and I realized how many of them were treasured family traditions that deserved to be preserved.
Many of the recipes in this book have been passed down through generations. Some were shared at crowded holiday tables. Others were learned quietly, one-on-one, beside someone who patiently showed me how much garlic was “just enough” or how long to let a sauce rest before serving.
A few recipes have been gently updated over the years, but the heart of them remains the same.
This book is my way of honoring the people who taught me, especially those who are no longer with us. Their influence lives on in every dish prepared, every gathering shared, and every story told around the table.
