Adungo Oniogo David, known in literary circles as DaveShine, is a celebrated creative writer, poet, and a global authority in public speaking. His work is defined by a rare "maturity of soul," blending the logical precision of his academic background with a raw, evocative ability to navigate the human experience through the written word.
David’s influence extends from the lectern to the global stage. In 2024, he was appointed Chief Adjudicator for the Public Speaking tracks of both the Pan African (PAUDC) and East African (EAUDC) University Debate Championships. That same year, he earned the title of Country Best Speaker at the Great Debate in Ghana and addressed global leaders as a Keynote Speaker at the Doha Forum: Youth Edition in Qatar.
Beyond his professional accolades, David is a dedicated mentor. As the National Coordinator for PeaceJam Uganda, he leads initiatives for societal transformation, empowering the next generation of African leaders. Whether through a poem or a keynote, David remains committed to the art of "bleeding onto paper" to inspire change.
Kibirige Desire Edward (born Busia, March 14- at the start of the twenty first century) is a Ugandan Poet, Novelist, short story writer, Essayist and playwright. He is a son to Kalule Peter, a businessman and Tukahirwa Naume a businesswoman who are traders. Kibirige Desire Edward is poet of hundreds of poems. His previous works include Miles Apart, Sunset Butterfly and Eight Days of Space. He is a recipient of different awards and honors. He compiled The Pearl, a poem-based anthology in 2023. Among his best-known works are Love’s Destination (2021) that was first published by Rakuten books; When I Meet My Death (2020), a death poem and his motivating poem, Life (2020). Although his reputation was not high at the time of his start, 2023 centennial of his birth was the starting point of a Kibirige revival, and Bard Diaries grew to be considered one of the great Ugandan Poetry anthologies.
