This book is a phenomenal retelling of a thrilling escape to freedom. The Craft's unwavering faith in God and deep hatred for injustice to their fellow man is heartwarming. At the same time, it is very disheartening and sickening to see the dark depths of humanity and how people can blind themselves to denying such obvious human rights. For those who believe that such atrocities could never happen in such an "enlightened" time, this is a warning example that it can, and unfortunately, is still happening.

This is like going on the journey with them, although I cannot even imagine the terror they felt at every step of the way.
