About this ebook

An Interracial Gay First Time MM Contemporary Romance Novel by USA Today Bestselling Author Lynn Burke

As a newly appointed youth pastor, I blindly walk by faith, stumbling without the promised light down God’s chosen path.

Until a young man resurrects the sinful nature I’ve rejected in my strive for purity.

Isaac Van Dusen, my pastor’s son.

He’s troubled. Rebellious. Off limits to my lonely heart, yet gives me breath when I feel I’m drowning and in need of a savior.

Isaac’s hunger for sin rivals mine, the kind that consumes.

Burns like fire and brimstone.

I’m determined to stay in a constant state of prayer, begging for delivery from temptation—all while dreaming of being on my knees for entirely different reasons.

I want to submit to the unholy craving between us and worship the young man entrusted to my spiritual care.

But acting on the lusts of the flesh ensures our fall from grace, and I can’t allow him to be the second one to pay the price for my sins.

Even if it means living a lie for eternity.

Conservative, bible thumping community, led by the hypercritical Pastor Bram, with his surprisingly enlighted son, Isaac; goes head-to-head with the guild ridden, shame laden youth minister, Malachai. Between the nine year age difference, Isaac is only seventeen when they meet, and Malachai's position of power, Unholy Craving sets the stage for a very taboo romance. How Isaac has resisted buying into his dad's teaching is a testament to his strength and self awareness. The wily way this young man directs Malachi, from the first moment they meet, is really nicely done. Lynn Burke gets deep into Isaac's head, and explores this character beautifully. We get Malachai's story slowly, as his resistance to Isaac's advances war with his interpretations of God's Word. Weak sinner that he is, and mired in his guilt and shame, Pastor Malachai is ripe for corruption, and Isaac's advances are impossible for him to resist. One of the most interesting parts of Unholy Craving, is how thoroughly Lynn Burke explores Pastor Bram, and how this man interprets the Bible. The person Bram shows his family, the personna he shows his community, at war with the loving father he perceives himself to be, makes him a fascinating character. There's plenty of erotic romance woven in with the Christian fundamentalism, and a happily ever after for these young lovers. Plus, the possiblity for a sequel, Zeke's story, is on the very near horizon.

Ok let me start off to say that I wasn't sure I would like this book because I don't believe in religion. That being said this book surprised me a lot, in a good way. It did have alot about some christians beliefs but it wasn't to overbearing if that makes sense. The author made it to where it was part of the story and so much more than I thought it would be! Meaning the plot was freaking amazing! I loved the chemistry these 2 shared and how well they meshed together. Now onto the sexy scenes and reason for the 4 stars. Don't get me wrong I loved the sexy scenes I just wished there was more. I feel like with this taboo there could have been a lot of stollen moments that were hot. Overall though a very good book and I can't wait to read the next one in the series. Zeke had piqued my attention from the get go!

☆☆☆☆☆ Unholy Craving was an incredibly emotional and beautiful story. There are several out there who won’t read this because it may seem too taboo but I promise if you give it a chance, you will find immense beauty. This forbidden, contemporary MM romance tells the story of Malachi Foley and Isaac Van Dusen. Isaac is the preacher’s only son. He knows he’s gay and spends the majority of his time in his room writing songs that he loves to sing. Malachi is the new youth pastor at the church with a painful past. He spends a great deal of his time repenting for his past. When he is invited to the pastor’s house for dinner, he is stunned by what he feels when meeting Isaac. The attraction is immediate but Malachi is determined not to act on it. Isaac’s dream is to survive to his 18th birthday before coming out to his father and moving to Nashville to pursue his dream of singing. I loved his character. He was the youngest of the characters but was surer of his place and faith t
