PORRA – The nation bordering the Azzil Territories.

XEROUS CASTLE – The primary bastion of defence against the enemies of the Hamaforth Kingdoms.

ANHIL – The bandits that infest the nations making up the Hamaforth Kingdoms.

These persons referred to by the inhabitants of the Hamaforth Kingdoms as ‘Beyonders’ have begun establishing their place within this traditional society.

Though scattered across a vast expanse on the world of Perencore, they strive to maintain some resemblance of their former existence while beset by a great many tumultuous issues that threaten to tear apart or quite possibly end their lives altogether.

Colin Bourke continues his reign over the nation of Porra. Having barely survived an attack by the crime gangs that infest Xerous City, he now finds his rule threatened by all those who seek to undermine his command. To add to his woes there is the rumour of war as an enemy army approaches from deep within the Azzil Territories. This host of armed men have only one mission in mind; to eradicate Colin Bourke and his followers and replace them with the deposed Lord Laninval.

The Bonaparte family and the Appor tribe are still being pursued by the monsters known as the Wenris-Wer. Now other people are interfering in their plight. These locals have their own reasons for detaining the tribe and their guests- but not all of these objectives are for the benefit of these off-world peoples.

Sergeant Major Walter Bradshaw and his unit of redcoats, along with the Civil War unit all arrive at the Royal palace in the city of Valderhien, although not without incident. Lorraine Montague and Victor Chan have yet to discover the cause of the catastrophic failure of the Minerva Project. They find their efforts constantly hampered by the good meaning interference of the local people. Eventually, both scientists are commanded by the king, Entell Thellon the Third to appear before him in Valderhien, a distraction neither appreciates.

Lieutenant Gary Wyndham and his Marines squad now find themselves in a dangerous siege situation. They are, along with their hosts, surrounded by a veritable battalion of Anhil, the local bandits who yearn to acquire the Beyonders’ seemingly miraculous weapons.

In Terrimorter, the capital of the Azzil Territories, Ruler Jom Azzer has dispatched an armed force of great size to displace the new Lord of Porra from the regional throne. And Major Enrich Voltaire moves ever closer to developing a new mode of weaponry that will permanently change the balance of power across the entire continent.

Dale Johnstone, Connie York and Sean Corrigin find life within the Self Contained All Terrain Transport to be advantageous. However, this futuristic mode of transport still does not always protect its new crew from the dangers of the outside world…… And with every passing day, they move closer to the nation of Blurican.

Book 1
MINERVA - The Roman Goddess of wisdom and the sciences as well as war.

THE MINERVA PROJECT - A development of the multi-national corporation ScienceStart

SCIENCESTART - Colin Bourke’s company whose main aim is to develop financially viable scientific achievements.

Six of the finest scientific minds in the western world are working on a venture to lay the foundations to control the last bastion of our natural world- time. This unique experiment becomes a disaster when the Minerva Project suffers a catastrophic malfunction causing five members of the team to find themselves no longer on Earth. The sixth member of the team remains on his home world to ponder his part in this devastating failure. Along with the five members of the project’s initial research team, numerous other people from across Earth are summarily torn from their lives and deposited without rhyme or reason on this foreign world. These unfortunates include the last surviving members of a doomed British military expedition on the mountain of Isandhlwana in Africa, an Iroquois helicopter crew from an ill-fated mission during the Vietnam War, a hunted man from the streets of a city in Ireland, an SS officer on the run from justice in the aftermath of World War Two, a group of soldiers on opposite sides of the American Civil War and a suburban family innocently on holidays.

Many other people are also transferred to the world of Perencore where they face a constant battle for survival in a harsh existence against seemingly overwhelming odds. Earth and Perencore are not the only worlds involved in this terrible violation of the natural order. The remnants of a mighty tribe of a people known as the Appor arrive in this new setting from their own planet. They too must face a constant fight to survive and find themselves battling a dreaded enemy from a time long past.

These different characters individually, or as a collective begin an exploration of this extraordinary setting to seek answers to many questions about their current state of existence. More importantly they desperately search this new planet for a means of returning to their former lives on their home worlds. Some of the people involved in this dilemma find their lives uncomplicated enough to manage in this new society while others are forced to deal with a brutal existence where each and every day may bring about a sudden death at the hands of Perencore’s inhabitants. Their only means of defence on this world is their superior know-how, intellect and advanced technology.

The main threat to the lives of this world’s new arrivals come in the form of a wide ranging group of merciless bandits called the Anhil. Another threat to the lives of the new inhabitants soon referred to by the local people as ‘Beyonders’ is the fact a long simmering feud is slowly escalating into a full-scale war between two mighty powers. The benign Hamaforth Kingdoms under the command of King Entell Thellon the Third have long been under threat of invasion by those persons overseeing the enemy state, The Azzil Territories whose overlord, Ruler Jom Azzer has vowed to take control of the entire Kingdoms at all costs. By the end of this volume some of the new arrivals to this planet have, with the kind assistance of the more benevolent members of the local community assimilated themselves into this rudimentary and antiquated society. Others find their fight for survival an endless nightmare and one character advances to the upper echelon of the nobility. In these, their new lives they unknowingly become involved in the machinations of ongoing hostilities between the two forces which include numerous assassination plots and an attempt to overthrow the Hamaforth Kingdoms’ monarchy by a bloody coup.

Book 2
PERENCORE- A world distant from Earth.

XEROUS CITY – The capital city of Porra, the nation Colin Bourke has been sent to rule on command of his Majesty, Entell Thellon the Third.

SCATT – Self Contained All Terrain Transport.

Due to a scientific catastrophe, numerous people from a vast variety of places and various timelines have been summarily deposited on the distant world of Perencore. Since arriving, they have been in a constant fight for survival against often hostile people and strange creatures. In some instances their endeavours to exist in this new environment lead them to form alliances with the planet’s original inhabitants.

Colin Bourke has been given reign over the entire nation of Porra after his rescue of King Entell Thellon the Third’s only daughter. He travels to Xerous with a military contingent to take charge of the capital city in the wake of Lord Laninval having been deposed due to his treacherous undertakings. Once in place in this mysterious city, he discovers ruling the nation far more difficult than then he ever imagined. He seeks to make drastic, far-reaching though humanitarian changes to the draconian lifestyle of the local populace, only to be thwarted at seemingly every turn by those persons already in power.

The Bonaparte family and the Appor tribe have been beset by a plague of evil flesh-eating beings determined to destroy them. They are in a race from this threat to their very existence. Sergeant Major Walter Bradshaw and his unit of redcoats continue to traipse across the countryside and eventually put an end to a disgraceful evil. Lorraine Montague and Victor Chan continue to try and discover exactly why this scientific mishap has occurred and rectify the problem with the Minerva Project. They also become increasing involved with the local community, unawares that their good intentions will eventually lead them both into grave personal danger.

Lieutenant Gary Wyndham and his Marines are still entrenched at the homestead with the farming family. He is slowly developing a close relationship with one of the women there- although an ongoing issue threatens their relationship as well as everyone’s lives. Captain Carl Buchanan of the Union army and his band of Confederate soldiers have fled from the city of Valderhien after an ugly brawl. They find themselves constantly on the run from different local authorities as well as the Anhil, the murderous plains bandits. Soon, the Civil War squad must decide on the best course of action to assure their safety on this new world. Should they return to the site of their former battle and face the Hamaforth Kingdom’s reigning monarch who insists he means them no harm- or should they continue to elude all forms of authority?

Ernest Cline
The bestselling cult classic—soon to be a major motion picture directed by Steven Spielberg.

At once wildly original and stuffed with irresistible nostalgia, READY PLAYER ONE is a spectacularly genre-busting, ambitious, and charming debut—part quest novel, part love story, and part virtual space opera set in a universe where spell-slinging mages battle giant Japanese robots, entire planets are inspired by Blade Runner, and flying DeLoreans achieve light speed.

It’s the year 2045, and the real world is an ugly place.

Like most of humanity, Wade Watts escapes his grim surroundings by spending his waking hours jacked into the OASIS, a sprawling virtual utopia that lets you be anything you want to be, a place where you can live and play and fall in love on any of ten thousand planets.

And like most of humanity, Wade dreams of being the one to discover the ultimate lottery ticket that lies concealed within this virtual world. For somewhere inside this giant networked playground, OASIS creator James Halliday has hidden a series of fiendish puzzles that will yield massive fortune—and remarkable power—to whoever can unlock them.

For years, millions have struggled fruitlessly to attain this prize, knowing only that Halliday’s riddles are based in the pop culture he loved—that of the late twentieth century. And for years, millions have found in this quest another means of escape, retreating into happy, obsessive study of Halliday’s icons. Like many of his contemporaries, Wade is as comfortable debating the finer points of John Hughes’s oeuvre, playing Pac-Man, or reciting Devo lyrics as he is scrounging power to run his OASIS rig.

And then Wade stumbles upon the first puzzle.

Suddenly the whole world is watching, and thousands of competitors join the hunt—among them certain powerful players who are willing to commit very real murder to beat Wade to this prize. Now the only way for Wade to survive and preserve everything he knows is to win. But to do so, he may have to leave behind his oh-so-perfect virtual existence and face up to life—and love—in the real world he’s always been so desperate to escape.

A world at stake.
A quest for the ultimate prize.
Are you ready?
