Russell E. Palmer is Chairman and CEO of The Palmer Group, a corporate investment firm. He served for seven years as Dean of The Wharton School and for ten years as Managing Partner and CEO of Touche Ross and Co. (now Deloitte and Touche), one of the world’s leading accounting and consulting firms. He became CEO of Touche Ross at age 37, the youngest person ever to attain that position in a “Big Eight” firm. Mr. Palmer has served on several New York Stock Exchange boards and has written and lectured extensively. His articles and essays have appeared in BusinessWeek, New York Times, and the Journal of Accountancy.
