About the author
Il prof. Melchiorre Trigilia, nato a Ispica il 3-8-1941 , si è laureato a Catania col massimo dei voti in Lettere Classiche nel 1967, con una tesi su S. Giovanni Crisostomo, col Prof. Quintino Cataudella, ed è stato docente di Lettere negli Istituti Superiori. Sin dal periodo universitario si è interessato di studi di Sacra Scrittura, Padri e Dottori della Chiesa, storia sacra e profana, storia e cultura della sua città e della Sicilia. Ha pubblicato diversi libri, studi ed articoli.
