About the author

Mahmood Aliofkhazraei is a PhD researcher of corrosion and surface engineering group at the Tarbiat Modares University in Tehran, Iran. Having obtained his academic degrees from this university, he has focused most of his research on different aspects of plasma electrolysis. He has authored over 20 scientifi c publications on plasma electrolysis and has received numerous scientifi c awards, such as Khwarizmi award and he is the author of the best thesis in the fi eld of nanotechnology in Iran. He is also a member of the national association of surface sciences, Iranian corrosion association and national elite foundation of Iran.

Alireza Sabour Rouhaghdam is the head of corrosion and surface engineering group at the Tarbiat Modares University in Tehran, Iran. Having obtained his academic degrees from RWTH-Aachen University, he has spent most of his career working about different aspects of plasma processes. He is an expert on plasma electrolysis and has received numerous scientifi c awards, including the Khwarizmi award and he supervised the best thesis in the fi eld of nanotechnology in Iran. He is also a member of the national association of surface sciences and a long-time editorial board member of the surface engineering journal.
