I actually didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped I would. Maybe it's because I was very busy lately & couldn't immerse myself within the story as I did with her other novels. Or maybe it's not as it's all hogged up to be. I liked Elinor & Colonel Brandon & shipped then together! Haha I still have 2 more books of her to go but as of now P&P & Persuasion are her best & my favorite.

My wife appreciates and enjoys reading Austen much more than I do, but then again she is an avid reader! I always do enjoy the way I feel like a child again when I read her work remember a time that will never come again, but hope for something even greater in the future.

Love her stories! But even more love her stupendous command of the English language! Awesome! Favorite character, that I immediately loved, was Mr. Darcy! What a character! What I loved most was the time period, Victorian era. Plus I made sure to watch every PBS broadcast of her novels without fail! Now waiting to view them again on PBS.....hint, hint (PBS)! She is one of literatures greatest treasures and I not one that truly likes romantic novels, indeed not. But I sure love her writing style.
