Dinç, who is on the board of directors of the International Media Information Association (UMED), is active in various non-governmental organisations. Engin Dinç, who has written on digital media, communication and literary writings, has more than 20 books in different languages. The author, whose researches and essays have been published in various journals, speaks English and Gokturkish. Engin Dinç is married and has two children.
