The ending had me in tears. This book really shows the audience the cruelty and how terrifying this apocalyptic world is and I fell in love with the characters and the ending destroyed me.

Great way to explain how this whole flare started. Mark and Trina are very faithful tho. Kinda disappointed cuz I thought the book would keep the series going afterwards, but still gives important info and amazing Twist. I understand Teresa's reasons for going with WICKED. Her story and her life was a real roller coaster.

I loved how this book gave insight on the events happening in the maze runner giving details on the world before but I think it could have been a little less detail in certain areas. Felt like it was too much about characters we'll never see again.
