About this ebook

When Zelda ran off with the “arm” of the vacuum cleaner, her family realized she wasn’t an ordinary pug.
She looks the part with her curly tail, smashed face, and wrinkles, but Zelda loves adventure. She is always searching for a new mystery to solve, cat to chase, or pillow to steal. Zelda is even willing to sacrifice a few treats to make friends with a squirrel!
The thirteen short stories build into a story arc that creates an exciting and hilarious chapter book for young readers (ages 7 and up). Zelda’s escapades are known to make even the most reluctant readers laugh. The best part is Zelda's adventures don't stop with this book; they continue in this complete five book series!

Great story from the eyes of a loveable family dog. Just read it with my 7 year old and we laughed the whole time. Loved the subtle references to the Zelda video games. Can't wait to read more!

One of the best books I have ever read. I am a member of the newsletter of Kristen Otte, the creator. It is a nice book about a pug named Zelda on 14 of her adventures. She conquers a snowman, a leaf pile, a tapeworm, a squirrel, and even the elusive Vacuum. If I could, I would rate this a shiny infinity out of ten. You go, Otte!

About the author

Author Kristen Otte writes books for children, teens, and adults. Her mission is to bring joy and laughter through stories to people young and old. When she isn't writing or reading, you may find her on the basketball court coaching her high school girls' team. If she isn't writing or coaching, she is probably chasing her husband and dogs around the house.
