About this ebook

In the second novel in the Breathless trilogy—now celebrating its 10th Anniversary—a woman's undeniable allure takes a dominant man completely by surprise...

Jace Crestwell, Ash McIntyre, and Gabe Hamilton have been best friends and successful business partners for years. They’re powerful, they’re imposing, they’re irresistibly sexy, and Jace and Ash share everything—including their women.

When they meet Bethany, Jace begins to feel things he’s never experienced before: jealousy, and a powerful obsession that threatens him, overwhelms him—and excites him beyond control.

Jace isn’t sharing Bethany—with anyone. He’s determined to be the only man in her life, and it’s jeopardizing a lifelong friendship with Ash. Bethany will be his and his alone. Even if it means turning his back on his best friend.

Maya Banks may have been around longer than E. L. James, but this book sounds too much like 50 Shades of Grey. I choose 50 Shades hands down over this crap. Guys do not talk the way Maya writes that they do. I could have started a drinking game for all the idiot things she had the men say. Please don't waste your money on this bullshit

Book 2 is about Jace falling in love with a homeless lady. Honestly, it is cute and heart felt (more aggressive, but not enough to cringe thinking about it... all of the books are excessively hot, you'll wish any of them were you), but I'll only read it the once... book 3 with Ash, I'm not going to say I was disappointed, just felt misleading... like he would have to fight to win the love of his lady. not at all, it was instant. book 2 and 3 felt like cash grabs, I wouldn't bother with them. DEFINITELY recommend book 1 though. Book 2, 3 star.

This book stinks, its completely ridiculous. It has this pretty woman meets s & m feel. Immediately from the get go a rich guy tries to save this girl. Its cheesy and lame, with every argument his demand is for a f***. Rush wasnt much better but it had some substance to it so I kept with it. There is a difference between well written erotica and over the top smut, and this is over the top smut. Im torn if I will finish it or not. It will be interesting to see what Burn brings, I'm not getting my hopes up.
