Another short but filling read in the Othercross world. Wren is sick of her overbearing brother (and the rest of their family) treating her like a child. She is 18 not 8! Sure, she seesm to be a magnet for trouble but who isn't at this age? Sneaking off to Othercross in her brother's carriage may not be the most grown-up decision but she is n a covert mission to show them just how adult she is (she understands that hiding in a sleigh is not very adult but it's the only way to get to Othercross). Her first foray into othercross almost comes a cropper when she goes for a walk with a handsy wolf but she is saved when another large wolf comes to her aid. Then the &*&% really hits the fan. The men in this story are extremes. Full-on possessive and neanderthal like. Yes, they have Wren's reputation and health at heart but I really could have decked her brother more than once! The mates and Kelly are much more style. Short, sweet and smexy!

On Wren’s first act of rebellion, she sneaks a ride on Dain’s sleigh to attend Othercross. At eghteen, we see how differently Dain treats Wren ( like she’s a little girl). So of course she gets into all kinds of trouble and meets Brodie. A fast paced, fae meets Real Men book.

I love being back in the Othercross world and this newest addition was a sweet read. Just in time for the holiday this quick read gives us a strong, feisty baby sister Wren who sneaks into an event that she was forbidden to. What happens next was filled with entertaining banter and a sweet fated mate with a HEA.
