I have read books 1-3 in this series a wee while ago but haven't caught up with books 4-6 so I loved how I felt I hadn't really missed out on anything as there were great short recaps of past events scattered through out the book, I also really liked how Steve and Avery already had a semi established relationship going and I got to dive in when they are deciding to take things to the next level. I really felt for Avery knowing she knew what she wanted but has been manipulated by her mother for so long as well as always trying to be the peace maker between her sisters and their, then how Steve wants Avery with him and how he bites his tongue at times when he really doesn't want to. Fortunately both have friends and family to lean on and others make pulling away easy and of course they also have each other and really Avery, Steve and Morgan make the perfect family! Avery never thought she would date a man with a teenage daughter, but it's not long before she falls for Steve and his daughter Morgan and decides that her life belongs near them. Morgan was a typical teenage girl texting her friends all day. Steve has a great relationship with his ex who was comfortable splitting time with their daughter and likes Avery. Avery's mother is a manipulative selfish woman and I would want to put distance between her too. Her sisters are funny and I liked their plans for a new performance arts school. It was interesting to hear more about the history of Salem and the ghost tour they went on.

The seventh book in the Love on the North Shore series a well written story that kept me turning pages. Avery Troy has moved to North Salem to be closer to her sisters and Steve Nelson. Everything is going really good until the Troy sister's snob of a Mother decides she will stay at Avery's new home. I enjoyed seeing Avery and Steve get a happy ending despite Lynn. Lynn got what she deserved as far as I am concerned, but in a way I feel sorry for her. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
