One of my very fav authors and very fav Tiktokers has written a new book and lord I laughed so much at times, swooned at times and absolutely wanted to throw my kindle across the room at times. Talk about all the feels and I absolutely loved it!!! Chase loved to chase women, but just a one-night stand type of deal. No strings attached. He didn't fall in love until that one night sitting in a bar and in walked this beautiful blonde woman and she is what he thought checked off all the boxes on his list. He thought she was his next conquest, but she may have broken through that wall he put up around his heart and he may see her again?? Y'all, Make sure this book is on your list to read ASAP. Sooo dang good and definitely your next 5 star read!!! xo

This is my first book by JD Hollyfield and I love her style!!! Bridget and Chase have insta attraction and after a hot night with this funny, sexy man changes everything for her. Few weeks later they meet again and neither can forget the night they had together but she is the cousin of one of Chase's best friend so she is off limits. Pursuing her will be a task on it's own, but this nice sweet guy will do everything in his power to some kind of relationship with difficult Bridget. Great story full of funny banter with just enough steam and suspense. I volunteered to review this story.

What a fantastic new story by Ms. Hollyfield! This is the story of Chase and Bridget. First of all, Chase...this character is hilarious, swoony, and is good at eating crow. Bridget is a firecracker, she is really a gal that is coming into her own. Both have some scars from their past that have dictated their future, until the meet and oh my me how the sparks fly. Their chemistry is wowza hot and the smexy times are smokin! I loved the bit of mystery, I loved the bit of suspense and action. It kept me turning the pages until the very end. The secondary characters were funny and brought the extra to the story. The only question I have is....what the hell is behind the locked door?!? I am hoping that mystery is answered in Ben's story!
