Ratings and reviews

Started out great but too many things were going on in this book with introducing a lot of characters to build up for a bigger story. As a result there wasn't much opportunity to build the chemistry between Maggie and Crispin, I could not connect with them. There were interesting and surprising parts but I got bored by the middle of the book and found myself skimming it to the end.

The Tempting Minx is the first book in the Worthingtons Series and is a fabulous start to this new series. This historical romance has strong characters, danger, drama, suspense, intrigue, and a chance for love. I'm looking forward to reading more books in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

l found it difficult to follow the characters. It may have been that I have not read any of the other books from this series.

About the author

International bestselling author Laura A. Barnes fell in love with writing in the second grade. After her first creative writing assignment, she dreamt of becoming an author.
