The Congress in Kyoto, Japan, was the beginning of a new era in the life of the IAAP: for the first time in its history, this creative and stimulating triennial gathering of Jungian analysts from all over the world took place in Asia. And with it, scientific and cultural dialogue between Jungians from ‘West’ and ‘East’ enters a new dimension.
