At nineteen, Rosalyn Fernsby is innocent and naive. Her oldest sister has taken responsibility of her four siblings by offering herself for an auction at Belladonna's House of Virtue. Rosalyn doesn't approve and expresses her opinion to the ladies of the house. She meets Lord Alexander with two of the ladies. He is determined to have Rosalyn even though he is engaged to his ward. Duty demanded he propose, but he has no desire to really marry her. A very erotic romance of an earl who doesn't always get what he wants, when he wants it and the young lady that demands he prove his commitment to fidelity and marriage. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Fast moving action, realistic characters who sometimes didn't see their flaws; yet , strove to correct them when they did. They faced poverty and abuse with determination, sacrificing themselves to survive. This was great non- stop reading full of sex lust and betrayal until the surprise ending,

a fast easy read w/few words requiring a dictionary 4 the archaic meaning, which I enjoy. But, caution It is not a PG read.
