Minding his own business Khell is busy working in the mall trying to catch thieves tormenting them for Santa, when he feels a buzzing and sees a woman in a white gown chanting in front of him. He tries to continue his work but finds himself surrounded by 13 women all chanting. He is transported to a wood-panelled candle lit room. As the chanting continues he is bound to a bed. The leader explains that he is there to service them so they can cast a spell to help eradicate the virus sweeping the world. He is furious but is powerless to do anything about it. This is a hot steamy Christmas story with a happy ending for our demon Khell. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a whimsical short story, where love blooms in a weird twist of events. Not PG by any means, but well written for how short the story is. Wished there was a longer version that had more character build up and tells the next chapter. He gets his girl, but I kinda wanted to see where the relationship would go, how he would fit in his new life and how his old boss reacts when he doesn't return. Felt like the rest of the story was missing. Would I recommend it...sure if you get it for free or on sale like I did. It's an easy read and has quirky, funny parts.

This is a fantastic short story by Ophelia Bell I usually don’t like read anything about coronavirus as I’m living this situation and don’t want reminder of, when I’m reading I like to escape and not think about anything that’s going on, this does have it in it but surprisingly works really well for the short story has a saucy number of things and it absolutely love how he falls for Anna and is able to show his true self with everything going on in the circumstances. Absolutely loved the story and would like to know more about this 13 covenant witches definitely potentially write more about them. Absolutely love it really great Christmas story.
