Part 1 of 4, novellas. Part 4 due summer, 2015 Torrent by author Gemma James is one of those books that left me thinking 'what the hell did I just read!?'. It was a mindfuck; that's for sure. It was also a dark, twisted, messed up tale that involves some dubious content, a tortured, damaged hero out for revenge and a troubled, broken heroine with a guilty conscience. Rafe is betrayed by someone he considered his friend, Alex, as a result of that betrayal he is sent to jail for a crime he didn’t commit. His sentence, eight years. Plenty of time for Alex to come clean and tell the truth, thus saving Rafe from a terrible future. But she kept her mouth shut. Now she’s got to pay the price

Can you please put up a warning (of the rape content) at the start of the book or top of the description I know I should have checked before reading but please if you could just put up a warning I would greatly appreciate it.

Really enjoyed the book, lots of sex and messed up characters lol.. Well worth a read and will probably end up reading the rest of the series..
