About this ebook

When war arrives, Bowe must advantage of the upheaval or be overwhelmed.

Having survived the Path, Bowe Bellanger is still on borrowed time. Unless he can restore his family’s position, they will be wiped out. Bowe’s hopes of a quick return to power are dashed when he is attacked and forced to flee the city. As powerful forces threaten war and rebellion, Bowe faces a terrible decision that will decide not just his future, but the future of the entire society.

This is the second book in The Narrowing Path trilogy. Bearing comparisons to Hunger Games and The Maze Runner, the series explores a rich medieval fantasy world with characters every bit as devious and bloodthirsty as the schemers in Game of Thrones.

I wanted this book to dig deeper into the culture differences and history between the two fighting countries. That said, I enjoyed reading this book as I did the first one.

Another great read. Couldn't put it down. Can't wait to start the final installment.
