Interesting read, poignant and real. I don't usually read "tell all" books like this but the fact that I'm a fan of Leah's and that she was involved in this notorious "religious" institution (as well as her entire family), I was intrigued enough to read it. In reading the realities of her life with the Scientologists and the power they have over their members, you have to admire her for speaking up and writing this book!

Not to say that the people Leah hates in her work, is Jesus Christ or God, but everyone here, who agrees with her, since she is well known, everyone who loves her work, sounds exactly just like the priests and Romans did on the time they all tortured and crucified Jesus Christ from the films Son of God Passion of the Christ. She probably thinks everyone who agrees with her, is blind, & deaf, to their own honesty. Nobody ever questioned her by finding out for themselves how the real truth could really make their lives happier & better, by studying the data from the real thing she despises so much, to see if it was actually true to only them and no one else. There is always two sides to every story. How would anyone like it, if they were treated so badly for believing in Jesus, & they get murdered for that belief today? Why not go to the real source and find out the real truth for only you? Seriously, Leah & her friends, they all use fake news to promote fake news, which got a man killed

This person has an obsession with using the F-word. All over the place. Over and over. Sorry, I just don't like it and don't want to read it and I'm from New Jersey. I was interested in learning more about Scientology but her unnecessary pervasive profanity turns me off.

About the author

Leah Remini is an actor, producer, and writer. A fixture on television since the age of eighteen, Remini is best known for her beloved role of Carrie on the nine-season hit The King of Queens. Remini went on to produce and star in one of the earliest and most successful comedic web series, In the Motherhood, and appeared in the movie Old School alongside Will Ferrell and Vince Vaughn. In 2010, Remini helped launch and co-hosted the first season of the CBS daytime hit show The Talk, and in 2013 she was seen on the dance floor in Dancing with the Stars. She currently co-stars in the TV Land comedy The Exes and TLC’s reality show Leah Remini: It’s All Relative, which she also created and executive produces. Remini finds great joy in her philanthropic work with numerous and diverse military, women’s, and children’s charities. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter.
