ARC received in exchange for an honest review. I am reviewing Sarra Cannon's entry to this collection (but I am actually just about to start the other stories, I can't wait) As usual, Sarra brings us a fabulous story. This one is in the format of a short story, providing information about one of her characters from another book. Anyone that has read anything by Sarra Cannon, read this book. Anyone that hasn't... Read this book - then go on to read everything else you can find, ever written by her. (Check out Sacrifice Me, by Sarra, for more Rend)

"I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review." I really enjoyed the prequel to the witches of cleopatra hill, I read it before starting the second book in the series which was a great decision on my part as it helped me understand Connor more. In general Nightshade is a treasure cove for paranormal junkies and would recommend it for people such as myself who find themselves looking for something tantalising after reading any paranormal romance series
