#1 New York Times bestseller
A USA Today bestseller

There's something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.

Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price's attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He's the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.

Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce--and goes out of his way to make that very clear--she can't let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . . even if it kills her.

"Sexy and fascinating and scary . . . I loved loved loved it!"--New York Times bestselling author P.C. Cast

Unoriginal, boring.. in my honest opinion the author plagiarized from evermore because the main idea is so similar to evermore. An Immortal boy keeps meeting his true love's reincarnation every he goes weather its Spain, italy rome or were ever else he goes. Everytime they meet the girl ends up dieing but this time its different.

2 out of 5 stars. For how long the book is, it sometimes seems to repeat itself and never move on. In addition, for all the hype about the book, it wasn't worth the money, so I would pick it up at a library if your interested in seeing it. Sorry -- I just wasn't impressed. Yet .. I will say the ending did leave me a bit intrigued. Review By: From Me to You ... Video, Photography, & Book Reviews -- read more of this review on my blog --

This book was actually pretty good! Especially since I picked it to read and I'm dreadful at selecting books. Cut me some slack have you seen the young adult section at Borders? If not check it out! To all the Daniel fans I think Luce should end up with Cam. Even though there's that bunch of crap about them being star-crossed lovers and soul mates. And even though everyone's saying Cam's evil. Daniel flipped her off! I don't get how she still kept coming back to him! Anyway I still want to read Torment. Sorry for spoiling the book again.
