About this ebook

Summary

Parallel with the VIII International Congress of Synaesthesia: Science and Art in 2025, as part of the Synaesthesia and Visual Arts exhibition, Swift Project Exhibition has collected more than 50 artworks and descriptions from 23 excellent artists from 12 countries across the 6 continents of the world. The exhibition was held at Palacio Abacial Archaeological Museum, Alcalá la Real, Jaén, Spain (Oct.23 – Nov. 9, 2025). The most outstanding establishment of the exhibition is the Swift Art Collective Platform in the Spanish courtyard of the museum, which offered a kind of emotive and perceptive experience that enabled the viewers to gain a new appreciation for swifts.

This album is a collection of all the artists’ works in the exhibition, their talks, and photos taken during the exhibition. It will enable the readers to gain a new understanding concerning the value of artistic creation, ways of art communication, and various objects of art study.

To help readers better appreciate the significance of synaesthesia in creativity, neurodiversity, and cultural diversity, the editor designed a set of special synaesthesia games based on artworks from the 23 artists, which encourages readers to share their feedback and comments. Winners of the game will get a reward: Artecittà Badge for Swifts.

As a contributor to this book, it is so important that those of us who are synesthetic artists be represented in art, in study and in life.
