Maybe a bit too romance driven, but kept me turning the pages. I could guess at the ending, but it was satisfying nonetheless. I wonder how the series progresses from here. Master of the occult professor. I would have liked it better if the heroes weren't so perfect.

I wasn't sure if I'd like this book to begin with, but got engrossed in it after the second page. Yes, there's romance, but the mystery and suspense kept me turning the pages as I read until finished. Can't recommend enough.

I've read this entire series and I think its great! It's sort of a combination of James Bond & Indiana Jones and then of course with the time travel twist. I love the locations & times the author takes the characters to! The only place I would like to recommend a visit to is Italy....that could be fun! Anyways, I highly recommend the series. I'm eagerly awaiting book 9...

Monique was born in Houston, Texas, but her family soon moved to Southern California. She grew up on both coasts, living in Connecticut and California. She currently resides in Southern California with her naughty Siamese cat, Monkey.

Monique attended the University of Southern California's Film School where she earned a BFA from the Filmic Writing department. Monique worked in television for several years before joining the family business. She now works full-time as a freelance writer and novelist.

She's currently working on an adaptation of one of her screenplays, her father's memoirs about his time in the Air Force's Air Rescue Service and the next book in the Out of Time series.
