Discover the Exact Money-Making Formula Used by Millionaires the World Over to Create Astonishing Wealth

Napoleon Hill’s early career was as a newspaper reporter, during which time he met and interviewed the wealthy entrepreneur Andrew Carnegie who issued him with a challenge. Carnegie (the richest man in the world at the time) commissioned Hill to interview 500 extremely successful men and, from the experience, distil the secret of success into a simple workable formula.

He accepted the challenge and the resulting book – Think and Grow Rich – took him 20 years to produce. This book has sold more than thirty million copies worldwide and been responsible for creating more millionaires than any other philosophy of achievement. In Will Edwards’ book Napoleon Hill’s Awesome Secret, his ‘secret’ for creating wealth is outlined in a simple 7-step formula that anyone can apply to create abundance.

Background for the Book

It was around the year 1991 that I first came across the writing of Napoleon Hill. I had taken my first job in sales, which involved selling computer systems within the public sector, and as I didn’t have much of a clue how to do it back then, was wondering what I needed to do in order to become successful. It was at that time, that I was first exposed to the kind of success literature that later became something of an obsession for me. I was forty years old and I remember wondering how on earth anyone could have lived for that long and not managed to find these success principles.

One of the books that was recommended to me by a work colleague was Think and Grow Rich and I found myself reading through it with heightened interested as I learned that there was a money-making secret to be found within the pages. Despite studying the book and many other classics in the self-help or personal development genre, it was years before the secret finally occurred to me.

There are probably many reasons that I did not immediately recognize the formula as actually being the first part of the secret itself. Like many other people who still think that Napoleon Hill had said that the secret was to be found within every chapter, I was somewhat mystified as to how it had eluded me. Of course, he did not say that at all; he actually said that ‘mention’ of the secret had been made in every chapter and naturally, that is an entirely different thing altogether.

The subconscious is key but this book seems stuck in the conscious mind part. Six steps seven steps meh. Like most books on the subject of manifesting important bits are missing.

About the author

Will Edwards is an acclaimed writer of inspirational non-fiction, but he also writes business books and dabbles in a number of other genres including allegory. Born and raised in the north of Liverpool, he attended the ‘tough old school’ he wrote about in his first novel Fergus and Me. With some of the teachers bordering on psycho, he describes his outstanding achievement of the early part of his life as, simply, surviving it.

He eventually completed the formal part of his education, graduating from the University of Birmingham and travelled the world with the British company Apricot International. He became Technical Manager of the company and a lifelong member of the British Computer Society before finally discovering his life purpose: to inspire and encourage other people to live more meaningful lives, find their true calling and 'go for' their dreams.

His passion for personal development led to the launch of his hugely successful website and publishing imprint, White Dove Books. These days, he lives in a converted old barn nestled into the beautiful Exe Valley in the English county of Devon where he does most of his thinking, walking and writing. In his spare time, he likes to write songs and he can often be seen singing and playing guitar or piano at local musical events.
