MARC HILL is the author of Two Dark Thirty, a distinguished firefighter/paramedic, and the creator of Two Dark Thirty Consulting, where he serves as an educational consultant, speaker, instructor, and mentor. Beginning as a high school social studies teacher, football coach, administrator, and collegiate instructor, Marc has worked in public education for over 20 years. Concurrently he joined the fire department and progressed through the ranks to full-time Chief. As the Rothschild Fire Department's Chief, he oversaw a revision of all EMS, fire, and rescue protocols, created a unique mentorship program, modernized the department's organization, and brought it into the 21st century. He carried on his passion when he moved to the larger City of Wausau Fire Department, where he helped oversee the committee for succession planning and restructured the probationary recruit academy. Marc has received multiple personal accolades in his tenure for medical care, including the Core Values Award, the Teacher of the Year Award three times, and many more.
