About this ebook

An unexpected betrothal leads the rebellious Shifter Heir to sneak out to a ball and meet a handsome Count.

Josephine, the Shifter Heir, knows that she is expected to be perfect at everything, and that includes marrying the man her parents pick out for her. But when that day comes, she realises that she wants to go to at least one more ball first.

The Count of Strizenzia has been sent to England to marry, the only problem is the enchanting tiger shifter he meets by chance in the ballroom.

Can Josephine and Otto find a way to be together or does fate have other plans?

The Heir and the Tiger is part of The Shifter Season series of Regency-inspired standalone fantasy romances. It includes a lightly steamy m/f romance with the heir to the throne who is determined to experience balls for the first time without the royal pressure, and a charming foreign tiger shifter who is about to sweep her off her feet.

Dance through the balls of The Shifter Season in a series full of shifters, stolen moments, scandals, balls, and romance!

The Shifter Season is set in a secondary world inspired by Regency era England where shifters exist and engage in the social season. It is not intended to be entirely factual and elements have been fictionalised.

That was just so stinking sweet. I loved Josephine. I was both surprised and delighted that her ‘rebellion’ was so innocuous. Especially considering the treatment she received at her mother’s hands. Otto was quite adorable; very noble and a smidgen self-sacrificing. I thought the two of them made a delightful pair. I would have enjoyed a bit of a deeper dive into the politics around them, though. There’s a fast pass about her parents’ marriage and some high-level notes about the next gen

This book is part of The Shifter Season Series and can be read as a standalone. I haven't read any of the other books in this series yet but I plan to in the future. This was a fun and quick regency romance about tiger shifters Josephine and Otto and I enjoyed getting to know them. I have read and enjoyed several books by Laura Greenwood and look forward to reading more by her in the future. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was a fun read with a sweet romance between the shifter heir Josephine and Otto who she meets at a ball before she is getting married, which is an arranged marriage. I liked Josephine and Otto together and the way their situation got resolved. It was fun to read about tiger shifters.
