Penalizing is Jason Wilder and Addison Barlowe’s entertaining and at times emotional journey. This is book five in the Portland Icehawks Series and for me this is my favourite read in the series which makes it the perfect addition to one of my favourite fictional hockey teams. Jason and Addison have a history, in fact they dated 10 years ago when they were both living in Europe. He got offered his dream, a contract back in the USA and they both decide to go their separate ways.

I liked this book a lot. Lots of tension and intense emotion brewing and bubbling throughout the unfolding storyline. I also thought that the chemistry was really good between the characters. It held my interest and read easily.
