I got a lot of laughs reading this book, as I also am a trumpet teacher, and the situations and characters so entertainingly described ring true in my own experience! I feel your pain, Sam! But I also share your joy and satisfaction when it is clear that a young life has been enhanced by music. A great read.

About the author
Sam Bennett has taught more than 20,000 trumpet lessons over twenty years, which are the basis for the stories in “Memoirs of a Trumpet Teacher!” He now teaches band in public elementary schools, and also performs on the trumpet. He lives in the Chicago area with his wife (also a music teacher, and Sam’s inspiration) and their two sons.
