About this ebook

It was one small kiss.
After all, a kiss is just a kiss.
Or is it?

After a passionate and empathetic kiss, dude ranch wranglers, Charlotte “Charlie” Randall and Zack Harris, are out of sorts as they pretend nothing happened. With too many demons to battle, Zack can’t let Charlie get close. But it’s too late, because she’s fallen hat over spurs for the handsome military veteran turned cowboy. Taking a job in another state is the only way to protect her heart and finally move on.

But Zack can’t let her leave, so he concocts a plan to find Charlie a boyfriend–a perfect match–to keep her in Montana. Until he realizes the only cowboy he wants her with is him. But it might be too late. Has Charlie made up her mind to put the kiss in the past and forget the cowboy who rode off with her heart?

This book made me angry. I hated that Zack constantly led Charlie on by touching her, kissing her, asking her to dance, even scaring guys away from her by acting like they were together. Then he would make excuses why it didn't mean anything. After she declared her love for him & was finally going to get away from him. Here he is claiming he loves her & she just automatically took him back. She reeked of desperation. Couldn't she make him grovel some. He needed to for always being a jerk.

"Kiss Me, Cowboy" by Melissa McClone is book three in the "Bar V5 Ranch" series. This is Charlotte Randall (Charlie) and Zack Harris' story. Zack and Charlie work as dude ranch wranglers at the Bar V5 ranch. A year ago Zack was having a really bad day. Charlie consoled him, which ended with her kissing him. The problem is Charlie fell in love with Zack, but he acts as if the kiss didn't happen. Zack says that he is not a relationship kind of guy. Charlie has to decide whether to continue working with Zack or to move on. Or can she convince Zack that he is a relationship type guy? This is a sweet romance. You can definitely feel the chemistry between them. The intimate scenes were closed door with great kissing scenes. It was fun visiting the town of Marietta again. I received a copy of this book from Tule Publishing for an honest review.
