This had that element that I was hoping for and enjoyed getting to go through the story being told. It had that light novel element that I was hoping for and enjoyed the writing style from Brandon Varnell. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

As the start of a new series this book does it’s job well, a nice pacing throughout and provides a good background on the main characters. Like with many of Brandon’s book, the main negative would be having to wait for the next volume to come out and continue the story. It’ll be interesting to see where the series does go from here. It’s worth picking up if you’ve enjoyed Brandon’s other series, or if you just like catgirls.

Love this series. Would love more volumes. And I think Silva had a t-shirt that had a pic of Eric from Wiedergeburt.
