if I could give this book a zero I would. This book is straight garbage. I could not even get through the first chapter. It is disgusting. The way this man does her and obviously he knows that she is a rape victim and a stabbing victim and yet he did not care. He also did not care about her sick daughter. This book is just disgusting. I can't come up with enough negative adjectives. I am truly disappointed. I don't like hardcore bdsm books anyway but I can take a little light BDSM. This man was a brutal rapist period point blank!

Definitely not a real BDSM book. A very sadistic man with no concept of safe or consent. He never really cared about her happiness or enjoyment. He just loved beating her body with constant pain even to the point of bleeding. Very dysfunctional relationship, not really a relationship.

when I started reading the book I expected to find a s/M relationship but instead I found a book appropriating rape culture and abuse. It's books like these that give the bdsm community a bad name and this was honestly the worst read of my life
