A great mini series of books can not wait for further installments. The characters are beguinning to come to life. Our (anti) hero can at times come across as not the most likeable character but he is shrouded in layers of mystery which hold your attention. A great read.

He was born in the UK in one of the more interesting previous centuries. Originally from Derbyshire, he now lives in the seaside town of Brighton.
