About this ebook

A secret identity romance between a former NHL star and the curvy owner of the league’s newest team—and where falling in love may mean risking it all.

Miranda’s family thinks she’s lost her mind.

She’s bought a hockey team. Moved into a tiny house in the country.

And she’s still single.

(Not that there’s a man out there who could possibly understand her… right?)

Until she meets Dak.

The charming, down-to-earth coffee shop owner who seems to get her in a way no one else ever has. He’s funny, thoughtful, and exactly the kind of man she never thought she’d find.

What Miranda doesn’t know? Dak isn’t exactly who he says he is.

He’s a former NHL star—one her team is secretly trying to recruit to head up her new charity.

Can love survive secrets and the truth?

Fall in love with this heartwarming, closed-door hockey romance about finding love when you least expect it. Featuring a curvy heroine, a hidden identity twist, and the perfect blend of humor, hope, and happily ever afters.

I love this intro to a new series set close enough to a past series that we get to see glimpses of old friends! We've got great characters in this one. I love how Ms Oram makes rich, famous, and obviously-with-some-clout characters seem just as messed up as the rest of us. Still insecure and still trying to live up to someone else's ideals until they find the love that makes them understand that they are enough.

Miranda and Dak had instant chemistry. I was so glad they were able to talk through their conflict instead of letting it fester. I love when two people actually communicate. I really enjoyed the way Dak had Miranda's back and when he called out the press for their sexist double standards. It was nice seeing some old friends from Sweetheart Creek.
