About this ebook

***Winner of the 2013 Cleveland Rocks Romance Contest, 2014 Carolyn Readers Choice Finalist, 2014 International Digital Awards (IDA) 4th Place Erotic Romance***

Uptight accountant Ally Taylor always plays by the rules and it has gotten her nowhere. Deep inside, she longs for fun and danger. A night at the dark and dangerous Felony Bar is just what the doctor ordered for mending her broken heart.

Tattooed bartender and playful bad boy Jack Jameson likes to break all the rules. He’s been watching Ally for months, waiting for a chance to make his move. He might be willing to end his one-and-done philosophy for a treasure like her. She’s different from the nameless, faceless girls of his past. She’s smart and sexy and way out of his league. When Ally wanders into his bar after a devastating breakup, he’ll do anything within his power to seduce and claim her for his own.

After a night of the hottest sex she’s ever had, Ally’s hooked on Jack like a drug. When she begins to consider a relationship with him, a woman from his past arrives with a devastating secret. Ally is convinced Jack lied to her. Is she willing to take a chance on him, knowing his past will complicate her future? Can Jack persuade Ally to reconsider or will she walk away forever, taking his heart with her?

This book is part of a series, can be read as a stand-alone, and is not a cliffhanger. It contains hot sex, drinking, addiction, mental illness, graphic language, and tattooed alpha males in the setting of an underground heavy metal club.

The saga continues with Unexpected (Book 1.5), Vindicated (Book 2), and Impulsive (Book 3-coming in 2015).

Spoiler? Not gonna lie. I am not a huge fan of books with infidelity of sorts. Was the chemistry? yes. Was it well written? yes. Was it believable? yes. But, the ending was rushed and not good at all. Jake didn't have to grovel at all, which should be required. Divorces don't take a few weeks ever, especially with a bay involved (so maybe more research). Overall I like this author. I just want more....

The book lacked depth. It has good plot and story but not much else. Character 's lack any real back story to bring them more to life.

About the author

Jeana Mann is the author of sizzling hot contemporary romance. Her upcoming release Intoxicated was a First Place Winner of the 2013 Cleveland Rocks Romance Contest.  She is a member of Romance Writers’ of America (RWA), Indiana RWA, and Celtic Heart RWA.

Jeana was born and raised in Indiana where she lives today with her two crazy rat terriers Mildred and Mabel. She graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Speech and Hearing, something totally unrelated to writing. When she’s not busy dreaming up steamy romance novels, she loves to travel anywhere and everywhere. Over the years she climbed the ruins of Chichen Iza in Mexico, snorkeled along the shores of Hawaii, sailed around Jamaica, ate gelato on the steps of the Pantheon in Rome, and explored the ancient city of Pompeii. More important than the places she’s been are the people she has met along the way.
