What an outstanding story! I absolutely loved this book and these characters. It’s no secret that I’m a huge J.T. Geissinger fan but she outdid herself with Ryan and Marianna. Marianna is unlike any heroine I’ve ever read before. Strong, resolute, wounded, but able to love and committed to do whatever it takes to protects those she cares about. She’s had an abysmal life and should be pretty much damaged beyond compare. Yes, there are other heroines in other books that have these traits, but there was just something about Mari that pulled me in. Ryan has that down home country boy charm. You’d never know that he’s a genius. Until he gets serious. Then anything goes and there is no question that the person you’re dealing with doesn’t mess around. He was a total alpha that had to be held back from acting on his instinct when it came to protecting Marianna. It was quite a struggle. There was so much to this book – intrigue, suspense, mystery, action, romance. It was fast paced and never slowed down or became repetitive. I highly recommend it to anyone, anywhere that’s looking for something with a little bit of everything. ARC provided Dual POV Safe Possible Triggers

***5 ‘Dragonfly’ Stars*** As much as I hate to admit it, when I read the description of a book I envision the journey that the author is more than likely to take me on. I shouldn’t, and I try hard not to, but it’s human nature to guess what will happen. I expect to be surprised with a few well timed twists in the plot line, but I settle on the tone and go from there. So it isn’t often that I’m knocked on my ass by a book and the route that is taken, but Ms. Geissinger did just that with Wicked Intentions and I must kowtow to her brilliant mind. From start to finish she pulled out all the stops and didn’t pull any punches. It was a funny, sweet, don’t bother wearing panties while reading story that pulled at the heart strings and brought out all the feels that kept me on my toes the entire time. I loved Ryan in Wicked Sexy, so it’s no surprise that I was all kinds of excited to get my hands on this book and dear lord did love quickly morph into full on adoration of the man. He is Alpha AF times infinity. Confident, sexy, cocky, charming...the man has it all and yet he has his moments, good god does he have his moments, but you can’t help but fall in love with him when you see just how deep his convictions go. Mariana was pretty damn amazing. She’s intelligent, cunning, sensual, fiesty and has such a good heart that one could say that she has the whole bleeding heart thing going on and considering what she lived through as a child and through her teenage years, that a huge accomplishment. True she is a thief, but even then she has certain code of honor she sticks to and I couldn’t help but admire and adore her on every level. Ryan and Mariana’s journey to their HEA absolutely surprised me. I loved every minute of it, but talk about being shoved down the rabbit hole and never wanting to climb out. These two were nuclear from the moment they collided and despite everything showed how in sync they were with each other at every turn. I want to say more, but this is one of those relationships that you must experience blind to truly appreciate. It’ll take you on one hell of a ride, but it will be absolutely worth it in the end. I know I’m going all fangirl over Wicked Intentions, but it deserves it. The twists and turns were done very well and I loved how the good, the bad and the ugly were all woven together and balanced each other out. And, Yes, there is ugly, but it is a vital part of the story and vital to the characters and their actions. Admittedly there were some OTT things, but that is something that I’ve come to expect from Ms. Geissinger and actually appreciate it because she goes balls to wall and doesn’t apologize for it. I loved hanging out with Connor, Tabby, Juanita and Elvis as well as Darcy and Kai ~ who I would LOVE to meet in real life, they are seriously amazing! I loved all three, but I think this is my favorite. It was sexy, beautiful and funny. I adore the interactions between Ryan and Mari. What a great, exciting story filled with everything a good romance should possess.
