I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I would have loved it to be longer! I have the whole Alex Cross series and I love to take my time and really read the book. The story was great, I'm just not a big fan of the whole bookshots idea, sadly.

Not sure why but I love the cross family. No matter the story, how long or how short, I'm engaged from start to finish and always ready for the next book.

This book was different than the ones before. There was no villian here and the story has a point. The veterans do not get enough support and James Patterson is trying to shed some light on it. Great book.
