I liked the ideas given in the book and it seems like it has worked for alot of people but I read it twice and felt ready to quit, made it one day and smoked again. He gave good tips on how to think of the addiction but the whole book basically repeated "follow my instructions" until it gets to the last page of about 3 instructions we've all heard before. no tips on how to overcome any cravings which I did have, despite the neverending promises throughout that it will be easy and enjoyable and have no withdrawel. he explains that he actually stopped after being hypnotized but advertises it as he quit so anyone can with HIS method, but he didnt even use HIS method. id say try it if someone has a book you can borrow but i wouldnt waste money buying it. just call a quitline for free and hear the same stuff from their counselors

I started smoking in 1986,average a pack a day but smoked 2packs/day for a couple years. Some of it is bullshit (motivations to start/continue smoking) and that's distracting. But, I read it when I was ready and ignored the bullshit.I had faith, followed the instructions, found truth and now I know i won't ever smoke again. Why? Because for the first time in 29 years no part of me wants to. None. I'm free from the psychological need to smoke. My mind is no longer conflicted and this book truly is why.
