About this ebook

This book is not really 'my' letters to the next generation but rather Paul's, the Apostle, the master architect of the early church, writing to his young mentee, Timothy. I have attempted to simply translate his thoughts, verse by verse, into our world today to help build new young ministers on the Word of God. It is my commentary on 1st & 2nd Timothy.

The Word needs to be the foundation of our ministries. Too many have started well, yet not lasted the distance. As we pattern our leadership on the Word and not just management journals and leadership manuals, I'm convinced we are all better equipped to face all the challenges of building the eternal church.

Many also are needing to discover the power of the Word to fulfill their destiny deep within. As we live in pathways laid down by the Apostle, the same blessing that rested on him, will be found on ourselves.

About the author

Ps Phil Pringle, along with his wife Chris, founded C3 Church Global back in 1980. Now a movement of 500+ churches in over 50 countries, C3 has a reach of more than 100,000 people worldwide. Hailing from New Zealand, Phil and Chris left the land of the long white cloud with their kids and a few good friends. Following the voice of God, and fuelled by prayer, they planted the first Christian City Church—as it was known back then—on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

Phil has also been an advocate for reviving the arts in ministry. Having studied at Fine Arts Ilam University, Christchurch, Phil is known for his artwork, sculpture, and live paintings. Passionate about bringing leadership and the arts to the next generation, he began C3 College. It continues to grow each year, teaching practical tools in ministry and the arts.

Although in high demand as a communicator on faith and church planting, Phil’s great love is the local church and winning people to Christ. He is committed to developing leaders who have a heart for people and who plant churches that are the hope of the world.
